Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre

The Ramadan Kids Quiz Night hosted by the Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre was an exciting and informative event for children from the local community. The quiz covered a range of topics related to Islam and Islamic traditions, including questions about the prophets and their teachings.

In addition to the general knowledge questions, the quiz also featured a “guess the flag” round, which tested the children’s knowledge of Islamic countries and their flags. The quiz also included interactive rounds such as Pictionary and Charades, which made the event even more engaging and fun for the children.

The children who attended the quiz night were enthusiastic and eager to participate, and they enjoyed learning about Islam in a relaxed and supportive environment. The Centre’s commitment to providing educational opportunities for children and families was evident throughout the event, and the organizers worked hard to ensure that everyone felt welcome and included.

The prizes for the quiz were generously donated by a small business in Newcastle, @uniquehampers1. The children were thrilled to receive their prizes, which included a variety of gifts and treats.

Speaking about the event, one of the participants, Hiba Ali, said, “I really enjoyed the quiz night. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Islam and have fun with my friends. I loved the interactive rounds, and the prizes were a nice surprise!”

The quiz night was a wonderful example of the Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre’s dedication to promoting understanding and tolerance between different communities. By providing opportunities for children and families to learn about Islam and Islamic traditions in a fun and engaging way, the Centre is helping to foster a sense of community and belonging.
