On Tuesday 13th April, Whitley Bay Islamic Cultural Centre (WBICC) organized an exciting and fun-filled Eid card making event for children to celebrate the upcoming Eid festival. The event aimed to provide children with an opportunity to engage in a creative activity and create personalized cards to give to their friends and family for the festival.
The event was well-attended by many children, and they were excited to create their unique Eid cards using a variety of art materials such as colored paper, stickers, and markers. WBICC also provided templates with Islamic-themed designs such as mosques, moons, and stars for the children to use, which helped to guide their creativity.
The children’s creativity shone as they designed their cards with colorful patterns, heartfelt messages, and festive decorations. They were thrilled to share their cards with their loved ones and show their love and appreciation for them during the festive season. The event was a great way for children to express their artistic talents and also learn more about the significance of Eid and its importance in the Muslim community.
Many of the children found the event to be an enjoyable and exciting experience. They expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage in a creative activity and create personalized cards for their loved ones. They also shared that they would miss Ramadan because of all the fun activities they had this year, including the Eid card making event, the Eid cookie decorating event, and other Ramadan activities organized by WBICC.
WBICC would like to extend its thanks to all the children who attended the event and made it a success. We hope that the children enjoyed the activity and learned more about the significance of Eid. We also hope that the activities organized during Ramadan helped to create fond memories that the children will cherish for years to come.
